Know what your protection does

LuaRN performs lexical and structural validation, encodes supported string literals, minifies source, and can rename local variables in standard Lua and eligible untyped Luau scripts. The built-in validator is structural, not a full compiler parser. It does not currently perform control-flow virtualization or guarantee tamper-proof execution. Obfuscation raises inspection effort but cannot make client-side code impossible to recover. Test output in your exact target runtime before release.
